Freedom Programme
The Freedom Programme is a 10-week programme that helps victims of domestic abuse to recognize the tactics, rules and behaviors that a perpetrator will use to gain control over their victim. It explores the belief systems held by those who perpetrate abuse and of how these fit in to wider societal beliefs. Through recognizing the many tactics of a perpetrator, it leads to understanding what a healthy relationship looks like.
Recovery Toolkit
Rock Pool’s Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit is a trauma-informed group intervention whose underlying methodology is rooted in trauma-informed practice. The toolkit has been proven to help individuals address the lasting impact of domestic abuse, which can stop people moving on with their lives and leave them with low self-esteem, relational difficulties and often feelings of guilt and self-blame.
We offer this 12-week programme to adults and young people who experienced domestic abuse. It has been designed to support those attending to develop positive lifestyle coping strategies.
Doing Our Best (Parenting programme)
Doing Our Best is a positive parenting programme that runs for 12 weeks. Tailored specifically for families who have experienced Domestic abuse it gives parents the tools to instil boundaries and values in their children whilst parallel parenting with a partner or ex-partner who may be undermining and denigrating their efforts.
The Doing Our Best (DOB) programme aims to support parents to have the confidence to manage difficult behaviors with minimal conflict and explore how peaceful, healthy and strong positive relationships between parents and children can be achieved, and where an emphasis is placed on how to guide our children to obtain good self-confidence and self-discipline along with essential social skills.
